A friend of mine asked me a very interesting question the other day; “How do you know for sure that she is the one for you?” This question got me digging… I had to really think about it. And to answer this question correctly, I had to think about you… about us… Finally; I told him this, ‘When you finally feel your hearts beat as one.” Let me explain this, with us as the best and the only real example I got.

Before I fell in love with you, before I finally opened up my heart to you, I had to get the real meaning of this relationship because clearly I did not want us to be a cosmic accident. Relationships, like the one we have is not a noun; it’s a verb. It’s something that I do, it’s the way I love you every day. Having known this, then it clearly gave me the green light to build our rapport.

We are still doing this, still pushing on and although it may sound as if I am flattering you, you are indeed the one for me because I have realized that of all the ladies that I have flirted with, you are the only one who is not an unworthy pastime. It is true that a lady you really love is an extension of yourself for without her am incomplete and all that follows is an empty ache, a yearning that drives me to the edge of reason.
